Skol Brewery Ltd (SBL) is a subsidiary of UNIBRA, a Belgium-based company dealing in Breweries, Real Estate and Financial Services.
UNIBRA has had brewing operations in Africa since the mid-twentieth century. The company is proud to produce and commercialize SKOL, a very successful brand selling over 45,000,000 hectoliters internationally as one of the TOP 5 beer brands worldwide. Currently SKOL can be found in more than 10 African countries.
SBL is operating in Rwanda since 2010 and is now one of the fastest growing companies in the country reaching 25% market shares.
Since beginning its operations in Rwanda, Skol brewery has introduced different brands to the market providing a refreshing choice of beers to satisfy various tastes.

We have proudly adopted Rwandan identity and have embraced the country culture. This is why we introduced GATANU and VIRUNGA, the first beer brands with local identity.
In order to accomplish its mission, Skol Brewery Ltd is looking for qualified and committed individual to join its team in the following positions:



The jobholder is responsible to develop a channel of outlets, translate our marketing plan into specific activities to his/her channel for instance: Visibility plans, availability of our products, promotion, etc.


• Understanding of Merchandising Techniques

• Promotions and Brand Marketing skills

• Visibility creation and enhancement

• Purchase behavior of consumers for FMCG

• Need to have negotiations and influencing skills

• Be communicative and organized • Analytical skills

• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office

• Strong leadership skills

• Holder of a category B driving license with at least 2 years’ experience.

• Bachelors’ degree in marketing, Business management or related field is preferred.



The jobholder is responsible to manage sales representatives in the same area, to support SBL’s distributors to deliver a maximum of outlets directly through the field force. The JH executes the distribution and Trade Marketing plans, processes and strategies to continually improve the competitive position of the SBL.


• Ability to manage a team of people

• Understanding of RTM principles, the difference between direct and indirect distribution

• Strong execution skills and emphasis on attention to detail

• Knowledge of effective routings and transportation network

• Understanding of Financial principles, margin calculations, P&L

• Understanding of merchandising techniques

• Leadership skills / Coaching skills

• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office

• Dynamism, creativity, flexibility

• Having high level of integrity

• Holder of a category B driving license with at least 2 years’ experience

. • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field is preferred

• Fluent in English and / or French



The Jobholder is responsible for employee’s personal development at all levels within SBL. He/she will ensure that all employees are equipped with required knowledge, skills and attitude to support the organization performance. Designing training programs & development plans that are aligned with the Company’s objectives;


• Experienced in training & development programs management;

• Able to conceptualize a training in practical approach;

• Able to understand SBL main operations (Commercial, Production, Marketing, Technology …);

• Good communication skills;

• Hold at least a Bachelor degree in Education, psychology or related field.
