In its objective to contribute to the country development through developing cycling among other things, SKOL Brewery Ltd (SBL) has partnered with the Adrien Niyonshuti Cycling Academy (ANCA) to create a Rwandan cycling team SKOL Adrien Niyonshuti Cycling Academy (SACA)” with the aim of developing young cyclists by offering them basic education and cycling competencies to help them shine on the international cycling scene and also give them an opportunity to live from their talent.

For the riders to achieve a high level, the team will have a permanent coach who will teach them different tactics to race in different types of races; it will also be registered as a continental team so that they can attend not only local races but also races on the African continent for more exposure.

SACA is composed of 11 Rwandan riders and they raced their first race “Heroes Cycling Cup” as a team this Sunday and did more than good as the team took the 1st and 2nd places and other members came on the 6th, 8th and 10th places.

We believe that this is an invaluable chance for developing Rwanda’s young riders of today to become champions of tomorrow and are happy to be part of the journey”, said the General Manager of SKOL Brewery Ltd.
