SKOL Brewery Ltd is honoured to partner with Bike for Africa in its 5th edition taking place in Rwanda from 29 January until 5 February 2020.
Participants will go mountain biking in the north western provinces of Rwanda (between 300 and 350 km), alongside lake Kivu, covering parts of the famous Congo Nile trail, cycling through the “Country of the Thousand Hills”, a spectacular trail for hikers and bikers.
This event is not only a biking event, but also a fantastic physical challenge, and a great opportunity for Brussels Airlines, Eurowings and Lufthansa Group colleagues to provide humanitarian & sustainable development support in the region by supporting the “Rwanda Charity Eye Hospital”, two selected local entrepreneurs “Kokka and Kinunu Agroprocessing”, and the “Berwa Kinunu project” by giving them financial and non financial means needed to develop their activities. With the help of ENABEL, the Belgian Development Agency, a team of Brussels Airlines employees will help these companies improve their business, using their skills and knowledge.
