As part of their newly signed partnership with Arsenal Football Club, SKOL Brewery Ltd hosted two Arsenal Soccer School coaches to run a one-day coaching clinic for professional Rwandan teams this Saturday February 23rd, 2019.


In the first session, their long time sponsored football team Rayon Sport FC got a unique opportunity to get first hand coaching from the Arsenal coaches.
In the second session, SKOL invited 20 players from Mukura Victory FC, Kiyovu FC, AS Kigali and Police FC to also benefit from the professional coaching clinic. SKOL is committed to help develop grass root football in Rwanda and to be instrumental in discovering new talents among all professional Rwandan teams.


Simon McManus and Kerry Green, two Arsenal coaches with long time experience in delivering elitelevel training programs, aimed at coaching players the “Arsenal way” in terms of practice design, coaching style and methods.


Ivan Wulffaert – Chief Executive Officer, (CEO SKOL Brewery Limited Rwanda) said of the first coaching clinic: “We are proud to keep our promise and connect professional Rwandan players to experienced Arsenal coaches to help them improve their skills. This is the first clinic and we are committed to bring more experience in the country and expose talented Rwandan players internationally.”


This first coaching clinic saw all players take part in a practical session learning new techniques and be exposed to a world-class coaching style.

The event started at 1 PM at the SKOL Brewery Football pitch in Nzove.

Skol Select consumers and Arsenal fans were invited to watch the training session while enjoying various entertainments and a fresh beer.
